Shermco Industries of Irving, Tex., threw an all-day customer appreciation event at its Minneapolis/St. Paul facility at 998 E. Berwood Ave., St. Paul, on Sept. 9. The event was an open house celebration of the rebranding of the newly acquired Electrical Mechanical Services, Inc. Guests included customers, vendors, and local businesses. News of Shermco’s acquisition of Electrical Mechanical Services was reported in the January 2015 Electrical Apparatus. As noted then, Shermco plans to expand EMS’s capabilities to incorporate wind energy services, electrical power systems testing, commissioning, and maintenance services, as well as circuit breaker and switchgear testing and remanufacturing.
