Bill Mammen joins Dynamatic as Director of Engineering


Wisconsin drive specialists Dynamatic have announced an important new hire.


The Sturtevant, Wisc.-based operation announced that William C. Mammen Jr (Bill), has joined the company as its Director of Engineering in a press release e-mailed to Electrical Apparatus earlier this week.


"DSI/ Dynamatic welcomes Mr. Mammen as the Director of Engineering, where he will be

responsible for the development and sustainability of all products while also supporting business and investment strategies for Dynamatic," the company said.


Prior to joining Dynamatic in April 2024, Mr. Mammen developed military and automotive

products/systems for over 30 years. He has worked on a variety of domestic and international programs with ship, vehicle, and component manufacturers including General Motors, Ford, Visteon, ArvinMeritor and DRS Leonardo which has resulted in extensive experience in the Commercial and Defense industries.


In addition to being a retired Army officer, Mr. Mammen obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering (w/Controls) from the Michigan Technological University in 1994. He has extensive experience in managing projects and bringing new technology, from initial concepts, into high volume production. Mr. Mammen has also been granted several U.S. patents in the area of hybrid technology. CEO and President Gary Steinhart said, “Bill’s experience will help to advance eddy current controls technology into new markets and applications and continue to build on Dynamatic’s reputation as a leading manufacturer of proven variable speed technology.”
