Texas' M.B. McKee is deemed a "perfect fit" for the Alabama giant
Motion Industries has entered into an agreement to purchase M.B. McKee Company., a provider of component parts for industrial, agricultural and commercial equipment. The 82 year old Texas company, which began as a family-owned business in Lubbock, now has two additional locations in Amarillo and Hereford, and serves areas of Oklahoma and Kansas.
According to Motion's president James Howe, the move is a "perfect strategic fit." He cites the company's customer-centric approach, along with a product range that compliments Motion's offerings.
McKee president Cindy Cole echoed the good feelings in Motion's press release announcing the sale. “This is a tremendous opportunity, and we look forward to bringing customers an expanded product and service offering while supporting Motion’s growth initiatives," she said.
